The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 327 from 2,257 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on October 26.
The largest number of the latest cases was reported in Sofia city (125) and the districts of Blagoevgrad (31) and Targovishte (25).
The total lab-confirmed cases since the start of the epidemic in the country is 37,889.
The active cases are 18,441.
Of the total, 2,036 patients are in hospitals, 146 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 122. The total recoveries are 18,354.
The medical professionals who have tested positive for the virus are 1883 in total, including 11 newly confirmed: 3 doctors, 4 nurses, 3 healthcare assistants and 1 other medical staff.
Ten Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. Total deaths rose to 1,094.
