The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 40 from 1,735 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on June 22, 2023.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,308,783.
The active cases are 1,824.
Of the total, 189 patients are in hospitals, 29 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
• 29 recoveries, bringing the total recoveries to 1,268,543 since the start of the pandemic;
• 13 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;
• 1 Covid-19 related death, bringing the total to 38,416 since the start of the pandemic.
