The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 5,178 from 49,300 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 29.
Test positivity rate is at 10.5%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 592,943.
The active cases are 93,276.
Of the total, 7,553 patients are in hospitals, 656 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,321 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 475,949
· 23,395 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,824,345
· 124 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 23,718
Of the daily cases, 87.41% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 93.55% had not been vaccinated.
There were 897 new hospitalisations, of which 91.08% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
