The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 518 from 14,126 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 15.
263 were confirmed from PCR and 255 from rapid antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 41; Bourgas - 29; Varna - 42; Veliko Turnovo – 16; Vidin – 8; Vratsa – 5; Gabrovo – 14; Dobrich – 22; Kardzhali - 10; Kyustendil - 3; Lovech - 11; Montana - 26; Pazardzhik - 22; Pernik - 9; Pleven – 7; Plovdiv - 39; Razgrad - 6; Rousse - 26; Silistra – 9; Sliven - 18; Smolyan – 11; Sofia district - 25; Sofia city – 62; Stara Zagora - 19; Targovishte - 14; Haskovo - 11; Shoumen – 7; Yambol - 6.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 413,838.
The active cases are 34,602.
Of the total, 4,832 patients are in hospitals, 504 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,991 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 361,993;
· 33,237 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 1,106,760;
· 49 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 17,243.
