The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 6,007 from 49,862 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on November 2.
Test positivity rate is at 12%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 608,499.
The active cases are 102,412.
Of the total, 8,030 patients are in hospitals, 669 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,009 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 481,778
· 14,545 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,874,721
· 310 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 24,309.
This is the highest daily death rate since the start of the pandemic.
Of the daily cases, 86.40% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 93.87% had not been vaccinated.
There were 1341 new hospitalisations, of which 90.16% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
