The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 603 from 4,602 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on October 18.
The largest number of new cases was reported in Sofia (196); Plovdiv (62); Bourgas (32); Blagoevgrad (31); Pleven (31); Targovishte (30).
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 29,108.
The active cases are 11,228.
Of the total, 1,484 patients are in hospitals, 79 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 37. The total recoveries are 16,912.
Ten Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. Total deaths are 968.
