Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 726 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 726 from 10,356 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 7.

Test positivity rate is 7%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,143,424.

The active cases are 171,639.

Of the total, 1,373 patients are in hospitals, 165 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2,158 recoveries;

· 1,748 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 19 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 68,32% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 84,21% had not been vaccinated.

There were 115 new hospitalisations, of which 77,39% had not been vaccinated.
