Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 733 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 733 from 13,936 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on November 22.

Test positivity rate is at 5%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 673,288

The active cases are 108,085.

Of the total, 7,357 patients are in hospitals, 760 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 835 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 537,950

· 4,544 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 3,186,030.

· 73 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 27,253.

Of the daily cases, 85.27% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 91.78% had not been vaccinated.

There were 223 new hospitalisations, of which 87.00% had not been vaccinated.

*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
