The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 83 from 1,191 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on October 12. The percentage of the infected is 6.9% of all tested.
The largest number of new cases was reported in Sofia city (50).
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 24,402.
The active cases are 7,663.
Of the total, 1,205 patients are in hospitals, 62 of them being in intensive care.
29 recoveries were registered over the past 24 hours.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 1,365, including 8 new cases over the past 24 hour.
One Covid-19 related death was reported over the past 24 hours, thus bringing the total deaths to 892.
