Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 839 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 839 from 11,209 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 6.

Test positivity rate is slightly above 7%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,142,698.

The active cases are 172,222.

Of the total, 1,461 patients are in hospitals, 174 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2,158 recoveries;

· 1,535 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 28 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63,53% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 96,43% had not been vaccinated.

There were 154 new hospitalisations, of which 74,03% had not been vaccinated.
