Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 871 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 871 from 10,052 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 12.

Test positivity rate is 8,7%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,146,279.

The active cases are 167,864.

Of the total, 1,213 patients are in hospitals, 134 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2, 634 recoveries;

· 1,430 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 30 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 67,51% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 83,33% had not been vaccinated.

There were 203 new hospitalisations, of which 84,24% had not been vaccinated.
