Bulgaria’s Minister of Health issued new orders on quarantine and sports events.
The home isolation of COVID-19-positive patients is automatically terminated after 14 days. This means that it is no longer necessary to obtain a negative result from a PCR test to terminate the isolation.
According to the same order, patients hospitalised with COVID-19 are discharged from the hospital at the discretion of the attending physician and with specific indications / indicators / results of imaging examinations. This applies to those who have the opportunity for subsequent isolation at home and adherence to the recommended treatment regime. That is, the requirement for negative PCR examination for the discharge of these patients from a medical institution is eliminated, as well as the condition for documented minimum 10 days from the beginning of the clinical symptoms and minimum 3 additional days without symptoms.
The condition for discharge from the medical institution for hospital care with documented at least 10 days from the beginning of the clinical symptoms and at least three days without symptoms remains for the persons who require follow-up medical care in hospital conditions, for the persons accommodated in places for provision. of social services, as well as for people with inability to isolate and treat at home due to cohabitation with people from risk groups.
By Order № RD-01-603/13.10.2020, issued by the Minister of Health and effective as of October 14, up to 30% capacity is allowed during football matches at the National Stadium "Vasil Levski", with at least two empty seats between spectators and observing a physical distance of 1.5 m
The requirement for holding outdoor competitions at all other sports facilities with audience of up to 1000 people per sector, with occupancy of up to 50% of the capacity, with at least one empty seat between spectators and physical distance of 1,5 m remains in force.
