The Customs Agency has inspected tax warehouses for the production of alcoholic beverages in the region of Karnobat, South-East Bulgaria. According to BNT sources, it is about warehouses connected to "Vinprom Karnobat" and the recently arrested businessman Minyu Staikov.
A number of irregularities were found under the Excise Duties and Tax Warehouses Act, in connection with which actions will be taken to secure the evidence by sealing the sites within an initial period of 48 hours, according to the procedure of the Tax Insurance Procedure Code (TIPC). The measure may be extended by a ruling by the competent court.
