On day 92 (October 8) of protests in Sofia, the demands of the protesters remain unchanged: resignation of the government and the Prosecutor General; introduction of machine and electronic voting at elections, reforms in the judicial system.
Shortly before 20:00, the demonstrators blocked the traffic in the Triangle of Power (the area between the Presidency, the Council of Ministers and the National Assembly in downtown Sofia).
The main organisers of the protest from the “Poisonous Trio” said that today, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on fundamental rights in Bulgaria. According to the trio, with this act the protests in the country have received moral support, and the government in Bulgaria has crashed both in the country and in the European Union.
Shortly after 20:30, as on previous nights, the protesters walked along the route of the procession to Eagles’ Bridge.
