On day 97 (October 13) of protests in Sofia, the protesters' demands remain unchanged: resignation of the government and the Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, early elections by machine, remote and electronic voting.
At around 7 pm, protesters blocked traffic in the area of the Triangle of Power.
Shortly before the march tonight, a brief argument broke out between police and protesters who wanted to go through the garden behind the palace on Moskovska Street to Orlov Most (Eagles’ Bridge). The police initially did not allow them, but then stepped aside and no more serious tensions arose.
Thus, the protesters reached Eagles’ Bridge in two goups.
