On the 98th day (October 14) of protests against the government and the Prosecutor General, the demonstrators gathered in Independence Square, in the area of the so called Triangle of Power.
There are two protests today. First, the protesters from “Justice for Everyone" initiative staged a rally at 6 pm in front of the Palace of Courts in Sofia.
In addition to the resignation of Prosecutor General, they demanded the resignation of the Supreme Judicial Council, reforms in the Prosecutor’s Office and the judiciary.

It was also demanded that the recommendations of the European Commission and the Venice Commission be implemented in order to avoid the suspension of EU funds.
Tonight, another protest is being held in the area of Independence Square, demanding the resignation of the government and the Prosecutor General. The protesters also demanded changes to the Constitution and the introduction of machine voting at elections.

After 9 pm, as on previous nights, protesters walked along the route of the procession to the Eagles’ Bridge. Traffic at the intersection was blocked.
The protest was peaceful.
