Blockades on Sliven-Yambol road have been taking place for seventh day in a row. The owners of domestic pigs in the village of Bezmer, Yambol region also joined the protest on August 8. They blocked the road to Bezmer Air Base.
Protesters continue to insist on changing the measures for animal culling and demand legalization of their private farms.
Residents of the Yammer village of Bezmer, who have been protesting for two hours, also demand their animals to be kept. They demand to be heard and to stop the pigs being slaughtered on their private holdings.
260 pigs are raised in Bezmer village. Some of them were slaughtered, others not.
The protest in Bezmer is not intended to hamper traffic to the airbase.
Residents of the village will protest again at 7pm tonight
