European Commission considers admissible the allocation of state aid for restructuring of the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ), announced the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport on 9th of September.
The reply of the EC is a result of the talks held with the caretaker Transport Minister Angelkova in Brussels last week. She presented additional analyses and arguments for the acceleration of the state aid notification for BDZ.
In June, Bulgaria requested the European Commission to provide a stance because the Ministry of Transport could not reach an agreement with the creditors of the state owned railway company.
