Farmers from Bolyarovo with new demands to the state

Farmers from Bolyarovo have new demands to the state because of the losses they suffer from the ban on trade and movement of livestock. For over 20 days, they are expecting the results of the second samples in order to know if there is a plague on the small ruminants in the region.

Livestock breeders insist that the quarantine imposed be cancelled as the animals have stayed for nearly 60 days in the barns.

The oposition Bulgarian Socialist Party has insisted on the resignations of the Minister of Agriculture Rumen Porozhanov and the Interior Minister Valentin Radev on the issue of animal plague. The centre-right GERB party, a majority partner in the ruling coalition, responded that the institutions had done their job.
