No form of campaigning is allowed after midnight on September 30. After a month long campaign for early general elections and a day of reflection on Saturday (October 1), Bulgarians will go to the polls on October 2.
Central Election commission said the preparation for the early general elections proceeded normally.
The polling day in Bulgaria will start at 07:00 and will run until 20:00. The law provides for extension of the voting time by an hour (until 21:00) if there is a queue outside the polling station.
Voters in regular polling stations with at least 300 registered voters could only use machines to cast their ballots.
24 parties and 7 coalitions registered to take part in October 2 snap elections
