Yordan Petkov, who together with his partner from Stara Zagora, took out loans in the name of three of his friends from nine banks for a total of more than 90,000 BGN, remains in custody.

Today, October 18, Petkov appealed against his detention.
His mother appeared in the courtroom and said that she has now found out about her son's financial problems and has already paid an instalment amounting to BGN 500. Petkov told the court that he would repay all the loans he had taken out and did not want to involve his friends.
The Prosecutor’s office revealed evidence that the couple had planned a trip out of the country, with an express service requested to prepare the child's documents.
