GERB-UDF to WCC-DB: The next move is yours too!

GERB-UDF stands firmly behind Mariya Gabriel and does not back down from her nomination for prime minister. This was stated in a message of the party on March 21.

Talks are possible only after a public political apology and the withdrawal of Assen Vassilev from the negotiations and the composition of the cabinet, the party said.

Earlier, WCC-DB also published a position in which they tell the GERB-UDF "The next move is yours". Now they are replying the same.

"GERB-UDF stands firmly behind Mariya Gabriel and we are not backing down from her nomination as prime minister! Talks are only possible after an immediate public political apology and after the withdrawal of Assen Vassilev from the negotiations and from participation in a possible future cabinet!

Dear colleagues from WCC-DB, the responsibility to say how we can continue is mutual. You have acted emotionally and not rationally, in total contradiction to all agreements and in violation of the trust voted for the implementation of a national joint mandate. Take responsibility for Assen Vassilev's actions, disassociate yourself from him and let us work together to develop a plan adequate to the crisis you are deliberately creating, at the moment too.
