The European Commission has given the green light to the support for businesses, with which the state will compensate for the high electricity prices for October and November.
BGN 110 will be paid for each megawatt-hour of electricity used, by deducting the respective amount from the bill for each customer.
The Ministry of Energy has started signing the so-called standard contracts for compensation of the industry with the electricity producers - Kozloduy NPP and Maritza Iztok-2 TPP and the electricity distribution companies CEZ, EVN and Energo Pro.
Thus, the ministry will receive information on which companies need compensation.
