Representatives of the State Hunting Agency in the town of Balchik (North-East of Bulgaria) made an inspection of the fence and the adjacent sanitary zone of "Zelenka" hunting farm near the village of Bulgarevo. The hunters, who from 3rd of November wikll start culling the wild boars and predators on the territory of "Zelenka", have already been instructed.
Four wild boars infected with African swine fever were found there last Sunday. Georgi Yanev, Mayor of Bulgarevo, said there were no new cases of the virus in the village. According to him, the virus in the hunting farm was carried by predators. In order to stop the spread of the disease, restricted areas were established by order of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency.
