Ice on power lines has caused breakdowns to 14 power lines in the districts of Vidin and Montana in Northwestern Bulgaria on January 12. Wet and heavy snow caused icing on the lines, downed trees and pillars and broke lines
9,262 households in Vidin district and 2,907 in Montana remained without electricity. There are power outages in the villageof Martinovo.
32 emergency teams have been mobilised to restore the electricity supply. A representative of the electricity distribution company CEZ said the repair teams are working to restore the supply as soon as possible.
