Bulgaria’s Medical Supervision Executive Agency has initiated checks at two hospitals because of the deaths of two women, aged 33 and 21.
The checks are at the Dr Atanas Dafovski Hospital in the Southern Bulgarian city of Kardzhali and St Ivan Rilski Hospital in Razgrad, Northeastern Bulgaria.
Both women had tested positive for coronavirus, but neither of them had underlying health conditions.
