On 23rd of August, after visiting Sozopol, the Prime Minister Boyko Borissov arrived in Rezovo where, together with the European People’s Party Chairman Manfred Weber, he inspected the security at the Bulgarian-Turkish border. Rezovo is one of the most vulnerable areas in terms of migratory pressure to our country. The Minister of Interior, Valentin Radev, is also inspecting the border.
Weber pointed out Bulgaria as a good example and a country with an incredible will to stop the illegal migratory flow that comes from Turkey and the Middle East to the EU countries. He insisted that Bulgaria be immediately admitted to Schengen.
Bulgaria's sea border this year has zero migration flows.
