MPs on July 18 at second reading adopted amendments to the Road Act, which provide for a postponement of the road toll system, for which the toll rates are based on the distance that heavy goods vehicles travel.
So in practice, the toll system will not start working on August 16 this year as planned. The changes to the law give a start to the technical aspect of the sytem, and the collection of toll road charges for lorries weighing more than 3.5 tonnes will be postponed until March 1, 2020.
