The leaders of GERB, Boyko Borissov, and of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), Delyan Peevski, demanded the replacement of the Minister of Defence, Todor Tagarev. The reason - the delay in the delivery of the APCs to Ukraine.
"For me, Minister Tagarev's work is over - whatever they write in this report, he has not done the job. This is a dysfunctional minister, now it's his deputy ministers, the Ministry of Interior and everyone else's fault, he's the only one in high gear. So high that there is a report in the secret files department on what he has done. If I were him, I would not have gone to Kiev to Zelensky before I had implemented the decisions of the Parliament," Boyko Borissov said.
"It takes him so long to send some armoured personnel carriers. A job we did with GERB and MRF months ago. Everything was ready - signed, done - on January 18 the money was provided, he has done nothing to this day. And today I look at him - a pitiful sight, he blames his deputy ministers. He could take responsibility and say "I'm to blame, I didn't send them." He walks back and forth, only takes pictures, nothing done for Ukraine. Everything that is done for Ukraine, was done by the Parliament. Tagarev did nothing," said Delyan Peevski.
