GERB MPs Daniela Daritkova and Svetlana Angelova met with the protesting mothers of disabled children in the tent camp at the Parliament to assure them that they are ready to help in order to move forward their requests faster and the draft laws to be presented at Parliament and be adopted. MPs from the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) also joined the meeting.
Anton Kutev of the BSP accused the ruling power of lying to mothers and not taking the necessary action all summer to make their demands a reality. National Ombudsperson, Maya Manolova, who also took part in the meeting, called for discontinuing the political debate and holding constructive talks.
On 4th of October at 14:00, a meeting will be held with the mothers of disabled children, with MPs from different parliamentary groups and representatives of the institutions involved in solving their issues.
