National Coordination Centre for Safe Road Traffic is established

A National Coordination Centre for Safe Road Traffic will be established, the government decided on 26^th of June. The new structure will have no separate budget, nor will it be allocated additional state funding for its activity.

The main task of the new centre is to reduce the response time in the events of serious road accidents or the occurrence of temporary obstacles on the roads as a result of severe weather conditions or other force majeure circumstances.

The new coordination centre will include the Ministry of Interior, the National Emergency Call System 112, Fire Safety, the Road Infrastructure Agency, the State Agency for Road Safety and the State Agency for Road Safety.

The activities of the new centre will be provided by the Ministry of the Interior. It will be managed by the National Police. Additional state funds for the work of the new Coordination Centre will not be provided.
