Nearly 300 Snow Ploughs Have Been Cleaning Roads in Areas of Snowfall

Nearly 300 snow ploughing machines cleaned roads in Bulgaria during the night in the areas with snowfall. The largest number of machines worked in the regions of Sofia, Smolyan, Pernik and Lovech, the press office of the Road Infrastructure Agency said on 20^th of November.

RIA advises drivers of all types of motor vehicles to travel with winter tyres, to drive at a speed that safely matches the weather conditions, cautiously and comply with the guidelines of the Traffic Police.

Blocking the traffic by vehicles which are not prepared to travel in winter conditions hampers the work of the snow ploughing machines and the movement of all other vehicles.

The regional road infrastructure units and snow removal companies work 24/7 and maintain the republican road network passable in winter conditions.
