The Bulgarian ambassador in Austria, Ivan Sirakov, told BNT on November 2 that there were no reports about injured Bulgarians in the shootings in central Vienna this evening.
The ambassador said that one of the attackers blew himself up with a belt with explosives in the area of the synagogue in Vienna, his accomplices opened fire and fled to the surrounding streets.
According to him, the attack was not just in one place and there were several attackers, their number has not been established. Barrier actions by the police and special forces began. There is a warning to avoid all central parts of Vienna and people not to go out. Doctor Sirakov added.
For me personally, there is no way this attack has nothing to do with the attacks that took place in Europe, commented the ambassador.
