Two adults and three children were seriously injured. One man had a leg amputated and two children are in intensive care - one is in a coma and the other has a broken pelvis.
Experts are assessing whether an 11-year-old child with more serious injuries should be moved to the capital Sofia for treatment.
Most of the injured passengers had bruises or fractures. Doctors said that all of them were frightened and stressed out from the accident.
Those discharged after the medical examinations have been accommodated in a local hotel by the municipality. They were provided with food.
