Following the rejection of the presidential veto, we will take para 6 of the law on the 2018 budget for the National Health Insurance Fund to the Constitutional Court, Zhelyu Boychev, an MP from the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) said on 14th of December.
"We believe this violates and limits the basic rights of Bulgarian citizens - the right to life - clearly stipulated in Art. 28 of the Constitution and the right to health insurance and guarantee of free medical service, according to Art. 52 of the Constitution, "Boychev explained.
“After this humiliating debate we witnessed today, this is the last chance and hope for these people, and the BSP's PG will refer the matter to the Constitutional Court,“ he said.
