The opposition party GERB is preparing to submit a fifth motion of no-confidence against the government, said the leader of GERB, Boiko Borisov on Wednesday, 4th June. This time it will be over the financial policy, more specifically over the government’s intention to make a new loan of over 3 billion BGN. The motives of the motion will be filed in Parliament on 05th June, Thursday.
GERB leader, Boiko Borisov, commented that the government would lead the country to a catastrophe because of generating more deficit. He added that the revenue agencies did not enhance collection, funds were being stopped, pension reform was not working and the deficit in the healthcare system was over 500 million BGN.
Prime Minister Oresharski said he wouldn’t comment before he sees the specific motives of the no-confidence vote. As he said in Parliament before, he had noticed that basic principle of debt management were made subject to discussions which in his opinion was not a good tone in such debate and added that he expected more serious arguments.
