GERB is ready for elections at the end of July if that is what the political parties agree at the Consultative Council for National Security meeting. The deputy chair of the opposition party GERB, Tsetska Tsacheva, explained that her party would insist on a referendum about majority vote and compulsory voting to take place at the same time as the elections.
Tsacheva has said that one of the most important tasks now is the appointment of an interim government to ensure governance of the state after the dissolution of the Parliament and to prepare the ground for a calm election process. Tsacheva demanded Prime Minister Oresharski to resign this evening.
