A large-scale operation by the Directorate for Combating Organised Crime is taking place across the country on August 8. The operation targets an organized criminal group involved in drugs distribution in Sofia, as well as in the region around Bourgas, BNR reported.
About ten people were detained, mainly in Sofia. Searches continue.
In addition to drug trafficking, the disrupted criminal group was engaged in violent acts against dealers who did not report proceeds from sales.
