Specialised operation on Maritsa motorway against illegal migration and human trafficking took place on October 7. Teams from the directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Haskovo and the Border Police have been on site near Lyubimets road junction since the morning.
The police officers stopped all vehicles for checks - cars, buses, lorries. They check everything - the passengers and the transported goods.
The operation also includes special equipment. There are helicopters and drones on site, a gas analyzer is used.
The operation began early this morning and will continue in the next days.
