Nearly 28 million leva have not been paid for years and have a strong social effect - unpaid wages on time and the risk of redundancy of 70% of the construction workers.
A long column of cars has already formed, but they are waiting calmly out of respect for the work of the builders.
Negotiations have been going on for more than a year. The contract with the state-owned "Motorways - Black Sea" was signed in January 2021. The section was completed in April, but so far the expected funds for the work have not been received.
Workers have not been paid since December.
There are nearly 800 workers in this road construction company. The trade union organising the protest says the protest is not political.
