Unknown men robbed the money for pensions from the central post office in the South Bulgarian town of Haskovo. For the time being, the amount of money robbed is not yet known, but it is large.
The robbery occurred in the early hours on 8th of June. The intruders entered from the yard of the post office after cutting two metal bars of the external fence. They tied the security guard and thwarted the security system. The intruders cut three metal boxes, from where they stole a large amount of money intended for payment of pensions.
The incident was reported to the authorities by a passerby who heard the security guards’ cries for help.
The police started an investigation.
