Anti-government protest outside the building of Parliament took place on 17th of September for a second day in a row. The demands were the same: resignation of the current government; voting into place a government chosen by the citizens; referenda and electronic voting.
The protesters insist on the immediate resignation of Borissov 3 Cabinet; vote not for parties but for specific persons and convening a Grand National Assembly.
The protesters pointed out that every year 7 billion BGN are stolen from the budget.
Regarding the comments about same faces at all the protests, the organizers explained that they could not stop them.
The protest is backed by Bulgarians living abroad. It was organised on Facebook and is intended to be the first in a series. The stated aim of the protest is the resignation of the government and a change to the system. On the first day, there were several hundred participants.
