Bansko ski resort is on the eve of the opening of the new winter season.
Intensive preparation for the opening tomorrow, December 18, is underway on Banderishka Polyana, and expectations are high due to the heavy snowfall.
As of today, ski runs are working, everything is ready, we have suitable temperatures, Ivan Obreykov, a representative of the company concessionaire of the lift, told BNT.

The snow cover is 80-90 cm, in places at the top it is over 130 cm. It is not recommended to leave the markings, as due to the accumulated new snow there is a risk of incidents, Obreykov advised.
It is very nice, very attractive, but also very dangerous, he added.

The prices of the passes from today to December 26 are BGN 70 per adult. Tomorrow it will be 20BGN for a pass, regardless of age. The cabin will be 10 BGN round trip. After December 26, the prices become 12% more expensive, ie the daily ticket will be BGN 79. The season ticket is BGN 1,450, Obreykov explained.

Green certificate is not required for access to the lift, only for visits in bars and restaurants. The anti-epidemic measures have not changed since last year – physical distance, masks in the cabins and indoors, including in the lifts.
