Snow Caused Difficult Driving Conditions on Roads across Bulgaria

Heavy snowfall caused difficulties to traffic in the high mountain passes in the Rhodope (South Bulgaria) on 27^th of November. The snow cover is 15 cm in Pamporovo and Prevala pass. 10 snow ploughing machines are clearing the roads but the snow fall continues and the road surface is covered with snow.

All vehicles are required to use tire chains. Cargo vehicles are not allowed trailers and semi-trailers.

Another critical point because of the snowfall is the Petrohan Pass.
