Snow is expected in Bulgaria towards the end of January. According to meteorologists, the weather will remain warm over the next few days, with no rain or snow on Saturday and Sunday. Similar weather prevails across the whole of the Balkan Peninsula where the snow cover is scarce.
Associated professor Georgi Rachev, a climate expert, says that more precipitations are expected, hopefully at 1 200 – 1 500 metres, in the period 23 th to 25th January. It is likely to snow around 25th, but snow will definitely fall at the end of the month.
