Swimming ban at the Officer ‘s Beach in the Bulgarian Black Sea coastal city of Varna has been lifted, the Regional Health Inspection announced on 28th of August.
The results from the tests of the sea water in the swimming areas in Varna region for August indicate that the quality of water meets the hygiene standards required under the Regulation on quality management of bathing water.
This summer, swimming at the Officer’s Beach was prohibited several times for incompliance with the criteria of the bathing water regulation and re-opened when the water was safe for swimming.
