The chief executive officer of the state-owned Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), Jacklen Cohen, will be replaced from the post, through a decision of Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy, Temenuzhka Petkova.
Cohen will be succeeded by the CEO of Bulgargas, Petyo Ivanov. The reshuffling takes place four months before the end of Cohen’s term of office.
At a meeting of the management board, Petyo Ivanov will be proposed for the CEO of BEH, while Nikolai Pavlov will be proposed to become CEO of Bulgargas, the ministry of energy said on 9th of February.
Petyo Ivanov worked as the head of financial control and as chief accountant and member of the Board of Directors the National Electricity Company (NEC).
The changes in the management aim at opitimising the work of BEH and will come into force upon entry in the Commercial Registry of Bulgaria’s Registry Agency, the ministry of energy added.
