The Bulgarian Government headed by Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski filed its resignation in Parliament at 17.59 on Wednesday, 23rd of July 2014, says the official announcement of the Parliament’s Press Office to the media.
Within minutes, the Chair of Parliament, Mihail Mikov, confirmed that the resignation had been tabled. He said that it would be processed in line with the Constitution and would be subject to a vote, probably on Thursday, 24th of July, providing there was a quorum in Parliament.
The resignation will be included in the agenda of the National Assembly and will be voted on by the MPs in plenary session.
