By order of caretaker Minister of Interior, Boyko Rashkov, as of today, May 31, Chief Commissioner Kalin Stoyanov has been temporarily appointed to the position of Director of the Chief Directorate for Combating Organised Crime. The current director Lyubomir Yanev (on the picture), has been re-appointed elsewhere in the Ministry of Interior.
The new director of the CDCOC was introduced to the staff by Deputy Minister Encho Mirchev and Acting Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Chief Commissioner Stoyan Temelakiev.
Chief Commissioner Kalin Stoyanov has worked in the system of the Ministry of Interior since 2003, successively holding executive and managerial positions in the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas, and since July 2014 he has been Head of the Special Operations Department at the Chief Directorate for Combating Organised Crime.
