Voting in Switzerland is frequent and the topics are diverse. That’s why the Swiss system hides a great mystery. How much power can the people get?

“We constantly vote. In one vote I feel like a loser, but a new vote comes, which could place me among the winners. Democracy!”

“Direct democracy, people’s right is always challenged. It’s not a decree, an eternal one. Each time it must be won back again.”

The people decide.

“The people have the final say.”
